UNC Institute of Marine Sciences Open House
The UNC Institute of Marine Sciences is celebrating its 70th anniverary with a community open house on October 21. It's an opportunity for the public to learn about the research that happens at Carolina's marine lab at 3431 Arendell St., Morehead City, NC. The open house begins at 1 pm and concludes at 4 pm.
It's a family friendly, free event. Come for the scientific demonstrations, fun kids' activities, and participate in some hands-on science.
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has been conducting science for our state in Carteret County since 1947. Now that's something to celebrate and support for many years to come.
